Launching Multiple Product and Features 

The CertiK Deepwallet is developed to be the consumer facing product of our secure blockchain.

I led the product and service design of the launching a new insurance service. For deepwallet, I redesigned the onboarding experience, built two new features and designed a converter that transferred over 1.5 million assets. Altogether brought the DeepWallet team to be the highest contributer in revenue, resposible for 50% of company’s monthly revenue of $1 million. 

I oversaw the hiring of 2 design interns and manage them for  team design output performance.

Showing Impact to Stakeholders

When I was first brought on to the team, design was not a intergral to the product creation process. My first task was very prescriptive and there weren’t any user research considered in the ideation process. I knew I had to show the team how to gain empathy for the user, and how much impact that could bring. 

How could I make the most impact in the shortest amount of time?

I had asked to have hotjar set up so I could conduct user research. Through watching screen recordings (hotjar), I discovered that some users were spending more than 6 minutes at the account creation process. At least 20% were dropping off at the passphrase steps due to inefficiency for verifications.

Audit

Because we were under a tight schedule for the launch, I had to identify stakeholders that were essential for this launch at the same time prepare for scalability for potential users and motivations. I was involved in creating product strategy and did feature prioritization exercises with the team. This way the dev team also have better planning of their time for each feature and problem.

New Account Creation

This is very essential for blockchain accounts because of its decentralized nature, once you’ve lost your information nobody can help you recover it except for yourself with the passphrase provided.

I did competitive analysis on multiple crypto wallet and designed a flow that we can allow more efficiency in account creation without compromising the security of the process, providing help and documentation for users’ memory.

Design impact : Reduced the login and account creation time by 40% from previous design.

Staking Portfolio Page

Staking portfolio allowing users to view their staking amount, reward and performance, providing them key decision making information including profitability of staking and historical performance at a glance. Also to redelegate staking amount to other validators if there is disappoint performance.

Validators Details Page

For users to determine validators reliability, validators details page allows users to get a more detailed information for each validator including total chain stake and self-delegation. Also allowing users to view their transactions between chosen validator with TX Hash and block height.

Transaction Window

Progress bar to inform users which step they are in. Having the addresses already copied for users, making the delegation transaction as simple as possible.
